In downtown Montreal, Concordia University's extension is discreetly integrated into a fourteen-storey commercial building. The interventions modify nine levels to create offices, laboratories and classrooms, just a stone's throw from the Sir George Williams campus.
On each floor, the spaces are similar, but not identical. Each department brings its own nuance to the common concept, a little of its own identity to a coherent whole. A vision in the image of what we want students to experience!
A large-scale construction project in a city center is always a challenge. In this case, the parallel occupation of other tenants makes the project even more ambitious - a logistical tour de force made possible by the commitment and collaboration of all the teams involved.
To come
