The Charles-De Koninck pavilion is at the heart of the Université Laval campus. Built in 1960, it requires major upgrading and renovation to improve safety and comfort for all.
Many original systems and components have become inefficient and/or out-of-date. Asbestos, typical of the period, is also present in large quantities. To spice things up, this pavilion is the busiest on campus, and must be kept fully occupied all year round.
Little by little, the building is being renewed. The original pavilion remains, enhanced by modern, bright and welcoming spaces. A major, smooth transition that will ensure this iconic pavilion endures for generations to come. A challenge just the way we like it!
